Dear Friends,
Thank you for choosing Doc’s Drugs and welcome to
our website. Doc’s Drugs was founded by my father, Dave Sartoris,
in Pontiac, Illinois in November of 1978. For over 32 years our
family and loyal Doc’s Drugs and Sartoris Drugs associates have been
proud to serve our customer’s prescription and health care needs in
the communities where they live. It is important to us that we are
able to continue the tradition of bringing a high level of service
to your community. We call it the Doc’s
Difference.
Our pharmacists will fill
your prescriptions quickly and accurately and will have them ready
when promised. They are trained in administering adult
immunizations including flu and pneumonia vaccines, hepatitis,
tetanus, and Zostavax for shingles. Doc’s Drugs pharmacists offer a
variety of professional services including Medication Therapy
Management, Diabetic Counseling, and Drug Utilization Review to
name a few. Think of your Doc’s Pharmacist as an extension of your
family doctor. Our pharmacists are there for you and can discuss
any of your health care or medication questions with you. Just give
us a call or stop in; our pharmacists make themselves available for
you. That’s the Doc’s
Difference.
Our pharmacies offer a wide
variety of non prescription items for your convenience including
money-saving “GoodSense” generic over-the-counter products. All of
our stores are trained and equipped to help you, or a loved one in
your care, with any Home Medical Equipment needs, including walkers,
wheelchairs, bath convenience items, lift chairs etc. Our Home
Medical Showrooms, located within the Pontiac, Wilmington and
Manteno stores, stock everything you would need in the way of
in-home patient care. We will bill Medicare or your insurance
carrier for you when applicable. And best of all, we offer Home
Delivery Service for your Medications and Home Medical Equipment.
Another Doc’s
Difference.
Most importantly, the
Doc’s
Difference is in our
people; our greatest asset. You know these people because they live
in your community and participate in your schools, churches and
social organizations. Our entire staff is dedicated toward
making your experience with Doc’s Drugs an exceptional one. All of
our pharmacy technicians will have completed certification training
by December 2011 exceeding Illinois state requirements. Our
pharmacy scholarship program provides financial aid to local
students in their desire to choose pharmacy as a career path, many
of whom are now practicing in their home town. Our pharmacists are
involved in countless hours of training to supplement their skills
in various diagnostic and counseling areas improving access to
healthcare in your community. Doc’s Drugs locally employs over 200
people serving 17 communities throughout Illinois, filling in excess
of one million prescriptions annually and we are still family owned
and operated.
If you are currently a Doc’s
Drugs or Sartoris Drug customer, thank you for your continued
loyalty. If you are not yet a Doc’s customer we welcome the
opportunity to serve you and your family. Just give us a call or
stop in and we’ll show you how you too can benefit from the
Doc’s
Difference.
Best Regards,
