Letter
Dear Friends:
My name is Dave Sartoris and I'm the founder and
president of Doc's Drugs. We started our business more than twenty years ago to provide
our customers with local stores that had the products and prices of the national chain
stores and the friendly, personal service that you would expect from a well-run
neighborhood business. We like to call it the "modern drug store with old-fashioned
values" and that's what sets us apart from our competitors.
Before starting Doc's Drugs I worked for twenty
years in the pharmacy business: from stock boy to pharmacist and eventually to a regional
director's position with a large, national chain. I was able to see the strengths and
weaknesses of a large company and I also saw that I could use the strengths and improve on
the weaknesses to provide better products and services to the customer.
That means that you'll find helpful pharmacists
that can assist you when the doctor is hard to reach. You can also speak directly to our
pharmacists and get answers to any questions you might have about your prescriptions. When
you call us on the phone, you'll be able to talk to someone immediately, and when you walk
into our stores someone will be there to help you find just what you need.
Our stores include counters for utility payments
and mail services. We offer a variety of services for photo finishing and our prices are
always discounted. Our home health departments include a variety of durable medical
equipment products to assist you with your safety and mobility needs. We think that you'll
be surprised to see our our wide array of products and services. It is our promise to
provide each of the communities that have a Doc's Drugs store with a quick, convenient,
and economical place to shop.
